A bit of a back story first...
In June of this year, Todd was notified that his retirement was official. This set the wheels in motion for our impending move with Carl and Ede to the state of Virginia. Through many conversations and with much prayer and careful consideration, it was decided that Tennessee made more sense for Carl and Ede. This move puts them in a good financial spot and eliminates the constant work (inside and outside) of a large home. Virginia no longer makes sense for our family either, so our attention has turned toward TN or northern Mississippi. This will put us close to Scott and Nancy and family and Carl and Ede in TN and Kate and her family in MO, not to mention all of the Harro connections.
So...
Our home was put on the market at the beginning of July and, as of today, we have had one offer. The offer was turned down with the advice of our realtor because the folks who made the offer have a home to sell in Schenectady...good luck. We are currently waiting for another offer from a very interested party and just yesterday we had a second showing for someone else. This waiting game requires a great deal of patience. Please pray that we will be patient and kind with one another as this long ordeal plays out. Pray for contentment as we bloom where we are planted for now. We thank the Lord that He does not leave us on our own but gives us the help of the Holy Spirit. Where would we be without Him? Thanks for your prayers on our behalf.
