As the glory of Fall sets in, sometimes it's nice to remember Summer's gardens.
One Wednesday in early Summer I, Martha, worked the entire day on digging up a garden at the side of our house. That's where I transplanted five of our rhubarb plants. I can't say they did very well the first year, but I did get to make a few crisps and such using the rhubarb. The pictures below are the plants that did really well in my garden! I planted sunflowers along the house at the back of the garden, two marigold plants towards the front, and lots of zinnias! Some didn't come up, but the ones that did turned out beautifully. Enjoy the pictures!

one plant had 30 blossoms on it at one time!

I also had some lavender ones that are gorgeous.
I particularly love this picture...
