Every Fall at least once, all of the younger kids and I (Martha) play the leaf-catching game.
The leaf-catching game is a made-up game that was created by Martha and some friends a few years ago. All that you have to do is wait for leaves to fall from the trees and catch them when they come. You play for a certain amount of time, and every leaf you catch you get point. Sometimes different leaf colors mean larger point values!
When there's a big gust of wind, well, you can imagine the chaos! Here are some pictures of the kids (all except baby and me-the photographer) playing leaf-catching on a windy morning in early October. I was able to get only limited shots because it was a 10 minute duration and then it was back to schoolwork!
Bjorn says, "I just missed one!!"
"Get out of the way Martha!!"
I don't have a caption for this one...
A bit of a lull...
Right back at it!!!
