God gives skills

Hello, this is Eleanor,

Mom ( as you know) FORCED me to write something on the blog, and of course, I have to obey, so here it goes:
Ingrid and I are members of a 4H club called Stone Archers. We sign in, then we stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and the 4H pledge. The 4H pledge goes like this: I pledge my Head to clear thinking. my Heart to greater loyalty. my Hands to larger service, and my Health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.

The reason our club is called Stone Archers is  because of this verse: "But his bow remained in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is a Shepherd, the Stone of Israel.)" Genesis 49:24. Mom recommended that you read the entire chapter. It's all about Jacob blessing his sons.

As you can tell, the Stone Archers is an archery club. But before we shoot, we do stretches and go over the rules before we even pick up our bows. Sometimes we shoot candy- filled balloons and other times we shoot paper pumpkins.

The leader of our club is a good friend of our family and her name is Cara Fantauzzi. Martha has been a mothers helper for the family for over 2 years. Mrs. Fantauzzi is helped by 2 helpers. Their names are Abigail and Joe.

I am really happy to be a part of this club. I know all of the kids in this club and many of them are my  friends. I am thankful that I can be a part of this club and I am glad that I can work on the skill of archery. hope to write to you guys soon!!!
